Our vision in 2008
Our prior vision on the future was technological (see below), and we achieved in 2007 all the technological goals that we had planned back in 2004. Ou new vision is much wider. We now understand that what we are working for is the economical development of the country. The UN Agency for Trade and Development streseed last year that there is no economic development without technology. We also know that widespread use of technology is only possible when it is in the local language, as we have seen in most developed countries. New LiSA is Coming
KhmerOS is pleased to announce that we are starting a new Linux System Administration course that will be starting on 05 September 2009. The course ranges from administering basic Linux desktop to setting up Linux File server, based on OpenSUSE. The purpose of the training is to build more capacity of system administrators to manage computer system in their institution using Linux openSuSE that supports Khmer Unicode.
