Once all the components
of the software, documentation and keyboards are available,
deployment of the system may start, in collaboration with all the
parents of this project. Specific “Marketing” materials will be
printed explaining the excellencies of the system.
Within the computer
market in Cambodia, as in most other places, it is the computer
vendor who is in touch with the end user (or the buyer, if
different). He can advise the user to install a system or other.
Including the vendors in the deployment (pre-installing the system
in new computers) will very directly affect acceptance by final
users. The campaign will include training of vendor/manufacturing
engineers, vendor support and very close contact with major vendors
to assure that any problem that may arise is solved as soon as
possible.
Another way to reach
final users is through public and private schools that presently
offer computer training. Schools must be identified prior to
deployment and training for trainees programs offered before
deployment date. This courses will have to be imparted by specially
trained personal that temporarily works for the project and become
very familiar with the tools.
Some of the most
important users of this system will be national and local
administration employees. Special consideration will be given for
their training all around the country.
